A client told me the CEO of her firm, when asked why he didn’t praise people who just completed a 24/7 work load for weeks prior to a major launch of a new product said simply “why should I?”

A woman I have known for years told me the other day that what was happening to her—someone had gone around her to deliver a message to one of her clients was “the worst thing ever to happen to her in 15 years of working—and the person who did it was vicious!”

A man I have worked with on dozens of programs and projects tells me he is depressed and anxious and just exhausted—and wonders what more “he can take”.
